Multi-Channel Hub Video Transmission Systems - for operation over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wire cables.
Self-contained 4 and 16 channel passive transceivers and 16 channel active receivers. These systems are designed for use over point-to-point copper wire of 18 AWG to 26 AWG. Four versions cover a range of from 100 to 6,000 feet (30 to 1,828 meters) depending upon the transmitter units used. On the active receivers, DIP switches (accessible via a removable front panel), provide for easy set-up and adjustment and allow the installer to "fine tune" each channel to the exact cable length. This method (unique to NITEK) of setting video gain and equalization eliminates service calls and poor results, especially over longer distance cables and when used with Digital Video Recorder's (DVR's).
