Modular Rack Twisted Pair Video & Data Transmission Systems - for operation over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wire cables
Compact and expandable; these systems are designed for use over point-to-point copper wire of 18 AWG to 26 AWG. Plug-in modules make it possible for the system designer to mix and match modules for cables of varying distances from 100 to 12,000 feet (30 to 3,657 meters). DIP switch distance settings on active video modules allow the installer to "fine tune" each module to the exact cable length. A fully populated modular rack can handle up to 40 video signals. Up to 4 RS422 data distribution cards can also be installed. Twisted pair connections are by RJ45 or wire terminals. The Nitek modular rack system allows you to "pay as you grow".
